Nora Montenegro suffered for years from neck and back pain. The bulged discs and pinched nerves she had to live with day to day would bring her to tears. One night while sleeping she envisioned a product that would change her life forever. She woke up, grabbed a notepad from her nightstand and started to sketch the electro-mechanical device she now calls Vert-A-Stretch. Many of the decompressing devices she dealt with in the past required people to lay down, or get in positions that are not easy to get out of. She wanted her device to be more versatile and easy for people of different mobilities to use. As development went further, she designed it with that purpose.

To use, sit back into the chair, adjust the height to place your chin above the neck cushion, if it is already set at the lowest point and it is too high, simply add seat cushions to your chair for needed body height. For added stability adjust the padded horizontal arms for your height and position them over your shoulders. Once you are all the way back into the device, strap the harness under your chin and press the remote control button up or down for desired stretch. There is a choice to have the heat on or off depending on the need.

As time goes by, gravity and life manages to catch up with us one way or another...the physical everyday stress which tightens muscles, the strains of bad posture, prolonged erect positions, injury such as compressed, bulged and herniated discs or pinched nerves; all these increase the need to take pressure of the spine and bring relief. Vert-A-Stretch brings that relief by decompressing, and gently stretching you while sitting back in a chair.
